We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Middle Office to join our expanding Corporate Services business in the Isle of Man.
This is a senior role responsible for building, leading and enhancing our Middle Office function – ensuring operational excellence, strong governance, and seamless operational changes across corporate and trust administration. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in supporting business growth, strengthening the control environment, and driving high-quality client service delivery.
Operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, you will act as the critical link between client-facing teams and the Company’s second-line functions, ensuring efficient, risk-controlled delivery across all core operational activities. You will oversee onboarding and offboarding, payments and banking, data management, billing and regulatory support, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, control, and responsiveness.
A key aspect of the role will be supporting and enabling business development initiatives, ensuring operational capability keeps pace with growth ambitions. You will contribute to improving capacity, scalability, and efficiency, helping the business respond quickly to new opportunities and time critical client demands.
In addition, you will:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Maintain and enhance operational policies, procedures and internal controls
- Monitor operational risk and support regulatory readiness and engagement
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation and innovation
- Work closely across the business to enhance service delivery and client outcomes
We are looking for a confident and adaptable leader with strong technical knowledge of fiduciary, corporate or trust services. You will bring a commercial mindset, strong organisational capability, and the ability to operate effectively under pressure, balancing competing priorities while maintaining high standards of delivery. You will be able to mentor and coach team members encouraging development and growth.
