We’re delighted to announce Cains has continued to strengthen its Litigation practice with the appointments of associate Emily Johnson and trainee associate Chris Walton.
Emily, who qualified as a Manx Advocate in 2019, gained her legal experience in England & Wales, where she spent over five years’ specialising in legal costs, before relocating to the Isle of Man in 2017. She has broad experience of advising on a range of litigation matters.

Prior to relocating to the Isle of Man in 2019, Chris practiced in South Africa, where he was an admitted attorney and notary public, with over 10 years’ experience in both corporate and commercial law and dispute resolution.
He has extensive experience in advising on commercial litigation matters and has assisted clients in connection with insolvency and liquidations, commercial contract disputes, debt recovery, residential and commercial property disputes, intellectual property and claims against directors.
