Cains’ top tier Banking and Finance team is delighted to have contributed the latest country guide on Securities and Banking Law in the Isle of Man published by Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence (TRRI).
The Isle of Man Chapter was co-authored by Cains’ managing director and head of banking and finance, Tim Shepherd and managing associate Stephanie Chew and focuses on certain features within the securities and banking industries in the Isle of Man.
The 2023 update, which was first published on Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence provides a high level overview of various subjects including: regulators; regulation of investment business and financial services; taxation; capital resources requirements; enforcement and investigation; creditor hierarchy on insolvency; data protection; and financial promotion and market abuse.
