Role:

We are currently recruiting a full time, permanent, Head of Risk & Compliance to join our team. Reporting to the Board of Directors of the relevant Cains Group company, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding the Group’s integrity and reputation within legal and regulatory parameters.

Key responsibilities will include compliance oversight, policy development & implementation, risk assessment and mitigation, reporting & documentation, team leadership and stakeholder communication. The Head of Risk and Compliance will also be responsible for monitoring all legal, regulatory and industry changes and emerging themes which impact the business of the Group and work to support the Boards to ensure that these changes are reflected (where necessary) in the Group’s Business Risk Assessment (BRA) and its policies and procedures on a timely basis.

It is expected that the Head of Risk and Compliance will be the Group’s Money Laundering Compliance Officer, although the role may be filled by another employee once relevant experience and qualifications have been gained.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of regulatory compliance (including data protection) and have a proven industry track record in a similar position.  Solid experience within the legal and/or TCSP sectors would be advantageous.

In addition to the essential requirements, the candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
