In December, we supported the Solidarity Ticket scheme organised by Hello Little People, a theatre company devising, creating and producing original Children’s Theatre rooted in Manx culture, heritage and landscape.
With our help, they were able to provide more than 200 free theatre tickets to families and children enabling them to attend their alternative pantomime, Beauty & the Yeast.
Tickets were distributed to a number of local organisations including Isle of Man Foodbank, Manor Park and Anagh Coar Primary School, Rebecca House, Crossroads, Family Library, The Children’s Centre, Henry Bloom Noble Nurture Provision, Salvation Army and families who applied directly.
Scott Leonard-Morgan, Director at Cains commented, “Contributing to the arts means giving back to our community and supporting stronger communities. We were pleased to be able to donate tickets to support local talent while offering members of the community the opportunity to enjoy the arts.”
