Cains launched its Kindness is Sharing initiative in November to help support local charities over the festive period. Our team chose the following charities to support this year:
- For the the IOM Foodbank we collected festive treats including tinned ham, mince pies, chocolates, juices, boiled sweets and lots of other non-perishable goods.
- For the Salvation Army Toy & Gift drive, we donated new toys and clothing items for children, babies and teens.
- For the Home for the Aged, we donated body wash /shower gel, body sprays and lotions, flannels and soap, crossword / puzzle books, jigsaw puzzles, colour by number colouring books and pencils, scarves, socks, gloves, board games, playing cards, toffees, boiled sweets, Christmas cakes and mince pies.
We were delighted to support these charities and we look forward to supporting other local charities through our Kindness is Sharing programme.
