A cross-practice team from Cains advised LV Care Group and the company’s investor RoundShield on the sale of the LV Care Group, which has a portfolio of 6 care homes located in Jersey and the Isle of Man, to the Emera Group, one of Europe’s leading care groups. At the same time, Aedifica, a Belgian regulated real estate company with a portfolio in excess of €5 billion and listed on Euronext Brussels and Amsterdam, acquired several of the group’s properties in Jersey and the Isle of Man. The team worked closely with Carey Olsen in Jersey, who acted as lead counsel to LV Care Group and RoundShield.
